Lyrics-Times From The Past

Times From The Past

In the hush between heartbeats, I heard a wing rise,
A raven cloaked in midnight with truth in her eyes.
She perched on the ruins where the lost dreams slept,
And the key to my soul from the silence she kept.

~~~~~~~◇~~~~~~~
 The roses below whispered names I once knew,
Painted in love, in sorrow, in dew.
But the timepiece she carried did not mourn the years—
It shimmered with strength born of long-forged tears.
~~~~~~~◇~~~~~~~

 I won't fear the turning of the past,
For it's carved the strength that holds me fast.
I carry the flame, I carry the cry,
Of every soul who dared to try.
The door ahead will open wide—
With every step, I'm still alive.
I am the voice of all that lasts,
A flame that rises from times of the past.

~~~~~~~◇~~~~~~~
Through ruins and roses, I walk unafraid,
Each scar is a map of the choices I’ve made.
The waterfall sings of what’s fallen and stayed,
But I bloom in the echo that time couldn’t fade.
~~~~~~~◇~~~~~~~

The key in her beak, the truth in her flight—
Unlocking the dusk with a whisper of light.
I followed her call through memory’s flame,
And found I was never the same.

~~~~~~~◇~~~~~~~
I won't fear the turning of the past,
For it shaped my soul to rise at last.
I carry the light, I carry the sky,
Of every dawn that learned to fly.
The gate ahead, once veiled in night—
Now bows before my rising light.
I am the voice that ever lasts…
Born from the fire of times from the past.
